Brave, Resilient, and Sustainable Entrepreneurship
In 2016, TOBROCO-GIANT won the King Willem I Award, the most prestigious recognition for brave, resilient, and sustainable entrepreneurship. Director and owner Toine Brock stated, "We are very proud to have won this award. It was extremely exciting. We were already happy to be nominated, which was a prize in itself." The jury describes TOBROCO-GIANT as the 'perfect example of a company that started small and now has a global impact.' Developments over the years
1996 Tobroco Giant was founded in Haaren (Netherlands) by the current director/owner Toine Brock. The production of agricultural and construction machinery began in the old pigsty at his parents' home.
2001 marked the development of the first GIANT wheel loader.
2003 relocated to a new production facility in Oisterwijk, Netherlands. Also, the development of the first GIANT telescopic wheel loader.
2010 moved to a new production facility in Oisterwijk, Netherlands.
2011 development of the first GIANT telehandler.
2013 Expansion of the factory in Oisterwijk, Netherlands.
2013 New factory in Eger, Hungary.
2013 TOBROCO signs the OEM contract with KUBOTA Europe.
2013 Expansion of the production location in Oisterwijk, Netherlands.
2014 production of the 10,000th GIANT and the 25,000th attachment part. Development of the first GIANT Skid Steer Loader.
2016 winner of the King Willem I Award for the best SME in the Netherlands. Opening TOBROCO-GIANT USA office in Des Moines, IOWA.
2017 Queen Máxima visits TOBROCO-GIANT. Introduction of the first models with Stage-V engines. Opening TOBROCO-GIANT office in the UK. Production of the 15,000th GIANT.
2018 production of the 20,000th GIANT.
2019 expansion of the production facility in Oisterwijk. Introduction of the first electric GIANT wheel loader. In the US, relocation to a larger location in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
2020 production of the 25,000th machine!
2021 acquisition of a compaction machine factory in Zwolle (NL). Expansion of the product range with compaction machines: vibratory plates and rammers.
2022 TOBROCO-GIANT opens a new factory in Füzesabony, Hungary. The factory has a working area of over 10,000m2.
2022 opening of the new, modern Experience Center in Oisterwijk.
2022 1000th electric machine sold! A great achievement. Focused on an emission-free future with the goal of offering an electric variant for all models.
2023 purchased 5 hectares of land in Cedar Falls, North America, for the further development and construction of sales and marketing offices and production facilities.
